Digestive Bitters

$15.15

Our Digestive Bitters feature classic bitter herbs–> hops, gentian root and milk thistle. They are formulated with aromatic herbs, anise and orange peel for an energetically balanced delivery.

We know that having a well balanced diet and lifestyle are key to wellness. A balanced diet includes a variety of things including different “tastes” or in traditonal Chinese medicine, the five tastes—sweet, salty, sour, bitter, and acrid. According to Ayurveda, the sense of taste is a natural guidemap towards proper nutrition.

Unfortunately many of us have diets that are lacking the bitter taste and include an overabundance of sweet and salty ones.

Bitter flavors stimulate the production of bile in the liver and increase excretion in the gallbladder. This effect is generally health-promoting, as it aides the liver in passing unneeded waste product. When the bitter taste first hits the tongue, activation of the digestive system begins!

Our convenient spray bottle is a great way to get your daily bitters in your life!
